Middle school students worked in teams to create a successful campaign for each candidate. Please help me in congratulating our officers and middle school JAG students on a great job!
This last Friday, our very own Mr. Zelasney joined JAG to give 10-12th grade students some tips on how to give a proper hand shake, as well as how to make a good first impression. Mr. Zelasney taught us S.P.E.C.I.A.L, which stands for:
S - Shake hands
P - Posture
E - Eye Contact
C - Charm
I - Introduce Yourself
A - Ask a Question
L - Lean in & Listen
We practiced these skills and are ready to make a good first impression during employer engagement opportunities. Not only will we use this information in JAG, but students will take this with them throughout their lives to help them be successful.
